The goal of this program is to:
- To discuss history of medical school pipeline programs in the United States How the pipeline got started, what are current barriers, and solutions
- To equip providers at various levels/stages of training with skills to navigate bias, micro aggression, and systemic racism in the workplace
- To discuss the current salary gaps in healthcare and to equip providers with tools to optimize financial wellness
- To create a forum for dialogue about meeting the challenges of healthcare equity within the physician workforce in Pittsburgh
