Gateway Medical Society presents "Equity Matters in Healthcare" at Provider Healthcare Symposium. 

This event allows you to join in-person or via Zoom and Facebook Live..



The goal of this program is to:
  • To discuss history of medical school “pipeline” programs in the United States— How the pipeline got started, what are current barriers, and solutions
  • To equip providers at various levels/stages of training with skills to navigate bias, micro aggression, and systemic racism in the workplace
  • To discuss the current “salary gaps” in healthcare and to equip providers with tools to optimize financial wellness
  • To create a forum for dialogue about meeting the challenges of healthcare equity within the physician workforce in Pittsburgh
